I know that most people love this player, I am one of the few that is not enamored with it (for example it is hard to get it to play .mkv files or HD movies)
Is it possible to replace it as the default player with another one on my system?
:)

I use QMPlay2 for video, and VLC for music.

WOW rokytnji! Thanks...but all that is Greek to me...maybe when I want to play a movie I will stick with the "open with" choice, much lower chance that I will stuff the whole thing up lol
:)
PS - the best player for movies of any type (that I have tried so far) is one called "videos" ...not so sure where I got it from...
